Our Story

Grand Banks was inspired by the floating "oyster barges" that lined lower Manhattan's waterfront in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Conceived by lifelong sailors, Miles and Alex Pincus, in collaboration with restaurant veterans Mark Firth and Adrian Gallo; the entity is a joint venture between the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit Maritime Foundation and the hospitality group Arts & Leisure.
