Beginning with the May 2009 issue, Spray will be published and distributed in a digital format. After discussing the idea with many of our readers, we thought the benefits were too great to ignore.
So what exactly IS a "digital issue" of Spray - and what does it mean for you?
- First, you should sign up for your digital subscription to Spray. If you already receive the magazine, look for a postcard and/or email coming to you soon with instructions on how to sign up online. As always, it is free to subscribe.
- Once you have your digital subscription, you will be notified of each new issue by email. The email will contain a link to the new issue (you can also check this web page for notice of each new issue).
- The issue will be viewable in your web browser, and will look like the traditional magazine (you can even "flip" pages). You can search text, zoom in on stories and photos, and even click on stories to view interactive media like movies (when available)
- You can also save the issue to your desktop as a PDF file, then print it - in the future we'll also offer a high quality print-on-demand service where you can order a high quality color printed copy and have it mailed to you for a small fee.
Again, please look for an email and/or postcard coming to you soon with more information on how to sign up for your digital subscription. The first issue in the new format will publish in May 2009 - look for it here! |

You'll continue to find archives of previous issues of Spray and American Marine News on this page, listed under "Download Back Issues." Each archive issue that we have has been converted to PDF for easy viewing.
If you find an issue in your archives that we are missing, please send it to us so that we can work towards completing our library. We will, of course, send it back to you and include a gift as thanks.
