Grand Banks Northwest Announces Expansion of Seattle Office
Professional broker and dedicated marketing staff added to broaden Seattle team's customer sales and support.

SEATTLE – January 06, 2010 –
Grand Banks Northwest, the northwest United States' authorized dealer for new Grand Banks as well as upscale brokerage yachts, is pleased to announce today that they have added Certified Professional Yacht Broker Tom Waugh and Assistant Marketing Manager Leslie Simmons to the team.
"I am delighted to join Grand Banks Northwest and work with such a high caliber, respected brand of yachts. I'm particularly looking forward to working with potential and current Grand Banks owners, as they bring so much passion and boating experience to the table," said Waugh. Seattle-native Waugh has been in the yacht industry for twelve years, and brings immense knowledge to his position. He has worked with some of the highest profile yacht builders and brokerages in the industry, and most recently spent seven years as a yacht broker and general manager with Ocean Alexander.
Waugh is an integral part of the Northwest boating community. He has served as a member of the Northwest Yacht Broker Association's Ethics Committee for the past four years. Waugh is also a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB), having met the exacting standards of the CPYB program. Grand Banks Northwest yacht broker Jerry Todd displayed his pleasure at having Waugh join the team, "Tom is a great addition to our team. He's a consummate professional and will provide Grand Banks Northwest customers a top-notch buying experience."
Grand Banks Northwest is also excited to announce that Leslie Simmons has joined the team as assistant marketing manager. Simmons comes to Grand Banks Northwest from Terex, a global construction equipment manufacturer. Her previous yacht industry marketing experience includes SonShip Yacht Sales and Grand Banks Yachts, Ltd, both of Seattle, Washington. At Grand Banks Northwest, Simmons will be in charge of marketing and promoting the business as well as helping customers enjoy a professional, friendly buying experience.
Waugh and Simmons join Todd at the Grand Banks Northwest offices located at Salmon Bay Marine Center in Seattle, Washington.
