Grand Banks Marks 50 Years with New Eastbay Debut at Sanctuary Cove
|
SOUTHPORT – February 28, 2006 –
Grand Banks Yachts will mark their 50-year anniversary celebration with the Australian debut of one of the company's most popular new models. The Grand Banks 47 Eastbay FB, a stylish and sophisticated new addition to the Eastbay Series of express cruisers launched in 1993, will appear in May at the 2006 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show
"The 47FB exemplifies the Eastbay style with its solid Ray Hunt hull design, teak toe rails, stunning interiors and classic downeast profile," said Neil McCurdy, Vice President of Sales for Grand Banks. "And the speed - this is a Grand Banks that will easily jump to over 30 knots!"
One of the most distinguishing features of the 47 Eastbay FB is the gracefully curving staircase that leads from her generous aft deck to a spacious flybridge. It's a stunning stage for entertaining as well as enjoying a cruise with family or friends.
Down below, the layout includes two staterooms, with en-suite facilities in the master, and a down galley with Silestone countertops. An optional galley-up layout provides for three staterooms below, or owners can choose an on-board office area that can be converted to a private double cabin. Handmade teak cabinetry, a pop-up entertainment center, Stidd helm seats, and a pristine teak-and-holly sole are just some of the luxury appointments inside.
Other Grand Banks models featured at Sanctuary Cove this year include the highly popular 49 Eastbay HX, the 52 Heritage EU, and the 46 Heritage EU.
